Update from the Northwoods Passage website: All Northwoods Passage Trails are open.
There is a winter storm warning in effect until Wednesday evening. We already have gotten 12 - 14 inches in most areas. 18 - 22 inch totals predicted by the time its over. Groomers are running. Trails should be in very good condition for the weekend.
Next week temps are predicted to be in the 40s, so ride this weekend if you can.
Remember, stay on the marked trails when crossing lakes.

Update from the Northwoods Passage website: All Northwoods Passage Trails are open. Lakes are marked. Stay on marked trails.
Trail conditions vary from good to poor depending on the area. Shaded and wooded areas still are in good condition. Places exposed to the sun and most roads are bare. There are icy spots and corners.
A section on Lake Nokomis was closed due to open water, it has been re-routed. Stay on the marked trail as there is open water on the old trail. Watch for signs!
Grooming is very limited until we get more snow.

All Northwoods Passage Trails are open. Lakes are marked. Stay on marked trails.
Trail conditions are degrading with each day of warm weather. Highs are predicted to be in the upper 30s until next Tuesday.
Trails are still in fair condition, but getting very brown especially the railroad grades and road crossings. Grooming some areas in the early mornings to try to keep a flat base.
More snow and cold weather is needed to get trails back in shape.

On January 27th, all Lincoln Co. Trails will be Open. Ride with caution, trails have only been groomed once and have a very thin base. More snow and cold is needed.
